Turning every journey into a story worth telling
Hi, I’m Ivy
I’m a lifelong traveler, project manager, and passionate travel advisor.
How It All Began
My love for travel started early, thanks to my parents, Rosalie and Robert. As a teen, they introduced me to my first three international trips, sparking an insatiable appetite for exploring the world. Travel quickly became more than seeing new places. For me, it’s about connection, discovery, and the stories we carry home. Over the past 30 years, I’ve explored nearly every continent (Antarctica is still on my list!) and embraced every kind of journey — adventure, cultural immersion, beach escapes, and beyond.
Professional Experience
I bring a strong background in corporate event planning at one of the world’s largest accounting firms, a certification in project management, and specialized training in accessibility travel. I specialize in group and international travel, and I love curating meaningful, seamless journeys that allow my clients to explore the world on their own unique terms.
Finding Purpose
Traveling is My Cure isn’t just a business. It’s the marriage of my passion for travel and my purpose to help others experience the freedom and joy of the journey. In 2025, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Lying in a hospital bed, uncertain of what life ahead might look like, I made a decision to live purposefully. My diagnosis would not define me. Instead, it became the catalyst to fully embrace my calling.
My Mission Today
Travel became my cure. It helped me stay hopeful, resilient, and free. And I realized I wasn’t alone. Many people with physical, emotional, or mental challenges long to see the world but feel limited or isolated. That’s why I’ve made it my mission to create experiences that remove barriers, celebrate individuality, and foster connection.
Traveling is My Cure is about more than vacations. It’s about reminding you that the world is still yours to discover — and I’ll help you explore it on your own terms.
